My most memorable foal photo was of Solar Slew's 1990 colt by Palace Music.
5 years later that photo of Cigar as a foal was featured in Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine and other media outlets.
It continues to testify that "Cigar Ran Here First"...here being my home at Country Life Farm.
The chronicling of each years foal crop is one of anticipation and hope to capture another champion's first days.
